Character Interview: Levi from Undefined | Seize the Fight is OUT!

Seize the Fight released this week guys!! Ack! I’m so excited. We have such an absolutely lovely bunch of writers in this collection, and I couldn’t be more happy with how this turned out.

In celebration, I thought it would be fun to do a character interview. So, everyone, meet Levi from Undefined!

1—What is your full name?

Levi Kendrick Borden.

2—What was your childhood nickname?

Do brat, nuisance, or remote-hog count? If not, then Lee. Laylah called me that all the time. Still does.

3—What is your most treasured memory?

I have a lot of memories that are special to me, but probably the most important one was being promoted to TSgt (Technical Sergeant).

4—Who is your best friend?

Because I value my life, I'll say two people—Laylah and Savage.

5—What is your most treasured item?

My truck. Even though Laylah put a dent in the door . . .

6—What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

That's a hard toss-up between strawberry and cookie dough. Most times I just do both and save the trouble of trying to pick.

7—Are you an early bird or a night owl?

Early bird. I conk out pretty quick at anything staying-up related unless there's adrenalin involved.

8—What is your motto in life?

Never give up. This life is hard. It'll get you down and make you not want to get back up. But you have to.

9—What three words best describe your personality?

Laylah has hereby informed me that patriotic, stubborn, and loyal are the suitable adjectives for this question.

10—If you could go back in time to one day, what day would it be and why?

I would go back to the day Laylah graduated. I have lots of things I would've liked to change about that day . . .

Honoring the Freedom of the Savior

Freedom. Liberty. Independence.

All forms of freedom have a cost. Seize the Fight pulls readers into an anthology of stories all showing freedom. An Army veteran crashing at his sister’s with hidden pain, a lieutenant returning home from overseas, siblings celebrating the Fourth even in the midst of turmoil, and many more stories all show a form of freedom and the fight it represents in some way.

Freedom can mean many things as is shown in this anthology with tales of finding freedom from the past, freedom from slavery, and freedom from sin through Christ who saves…

Galatians 5:1

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Have you read Seize the Fight yet? Do you think strawberry or cookie dough ice cream is superior? Which question was your favorite? I'd love to hear your answers!

Catch ya on the flip side! _Mac 🤎
